Boutique holiday accommodation, Fort William
Chris and Jackie Clifford would like to welcome you into our West Highland home. Come to relax and enjoy 21st Century comfort at Huntingtower Lodge, a contemporary boutique B&B offering a "haven of tranquillity" overlooking Loch Linnhe.
Spectacular views of Loch Linnhe all year round
The Lodge, with its stunning and ever changing views of Loch Linnhe, is 2 miles south west of Fort William, the 'Outdoor Capital of the UK.' All our accommodation has extensive views across the loch towards the Ardgour peninsula and offers the opportunity to spot some of the varied wildlife around the Lodge.
Eco-friendly, visitor friendly
Our home is light, bright and modern with double glazing and central heating throughout and is run as a green establishment (GTBS Gold Award). We provide free wi-fi access and the use of a lap-top if required. There is ample off-road parking, a secure garage for bikes and drying facilities for outdoor gear. We are happy to collect guests arriving in Fort William by public transport, we can also transport guests who are walking the West Highland Way, the Great Glen Way or travelling on the Jacobite Express. All lifts are by prior arrangement - a donation for this service to our preferred charity, The John Muir Trust, is always appreciated.
For complete relaxation of mind, body and spirit we can recommend Alpine Holistics who are happy to come to Huntingtower Lodge "to relax, revive and bring harmony into your life".
Catering to every taste
Jackie, who was an outside caterer for twelve years, will prepare the breakfast of your choice while you sit and enjoy the view over Loch Linnhe. Breakfast is served in the lounge between 8.00 and 9.30 and is a leisurely affair. We cook to order but if you need to get away quickly in the morning we can take your order the evening before. You can help yourself from a selection of fruit juice, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals and toast, made from our own bread. Choose your hot dish from our seasonal menu that offers a choice of breakfasts to suit most appetites.
We will happily cater for special diets if we are given prior notice. Our policy is to keep food miles to a minimum without losing quality therefore we try to source British food and ingredients where possible. We do use organic produce if we can but only if it is British.
House Party Bookings
We welcome small groups of up to 10 people and offer exclusive use of Huntingtower Lodge to those seeking total privacy or looking for that ‘House Party’ experience (see our Exclusive Hire page).
